I have dark circles under my eyes, even when I've had plenty of sleep, how can I get rid of them?

According to Chinese Medicine, the area under the eyes relates to our kidneys, which are also connected to the adrenal glands. Dark circles under the eyes are understood to be a symptom of an allergy or food intolerance. Try and isolate the specific allergens that you may be sensitive to, common foods being wheat, dairy, citrus, tomatoes and caffeine and substitute these for suitable alternatives. Try this for four weeks to give your adrenals a chance to regenerate. Ensure that you take a good B complex (with B5 which specifically supports the adrenals), vitamin C or try AllerPlex – Allergy Defence Formula (Kudos 0208 392 6524) that contains herbs, amino acids, vitamins and minerals specifically designed to help reduce the intensity and severity of allergic reactions.
